CMAS Advanced Nitrox Diver Course
Course Overview
This course widens all aspects of Nitrox diving to include the use of stage decompression
and pure oxygen. The objective of this course is to train divers to the awarness of the
additional risks associated with gas switching to optimize decompression schedules.
Pre-requistes
Minimum age of 16.
Nitrox certified.
Two Star Diver certified.
Proof of 30 logged dives including 10 nitrox dives.

- Formula work, CNS and OTU
- Equipment consideration
- Dive tables & dive computers
- Dive planning
- Common mixing procedures
- Decompression

The Advanced Nitrox diver course is a 3 day course and 4 dives are required.

Equipment requirement
The Advanced Nitrox Diver course has some specific equipment required for this course on
top of the standard gear. All students must own or purchase a spool, SMB and wrist slate.
We supply the nitrox tanks and mixes, the oxygen clean regulator and the oxygen analyser.
