CMAS Normoxic Trimix Instructor Course
Course Overview
This course provides training required to teach the compentent and safe utilizatiion of
breathing gases containing helium for dives that require stage decompression to a
maximum depth of 60msw. The objective of this course is to teach instructors to teach the
benefits, hazards and proper procedures of utilizing custom oxygen, helium and nitrogen
mixtures as breathing gases.Gas mixes are not to have less than 18% of oxygen in the mix.
Pre-requistes
Minimum age of 21.
CMAS 2 Star instructor certified.
Advanced Nitrox instructor certified.
Proof of 300 logged dives of which 20 are Trimix dives.

Equipment requirement
The Normoxic Trimix instructor course uses technical gear configuration. All students must
own or purchase a spool, SMB and wrist slate. We supply the double tanks, decompression
tanks and nitrox/oxygen mixes, the decompression regulators and the oxygen and helium
analyser.
