CMAS Two Star Diver Course
Course Overview
A diver who has gained some open water diving experience and is considered ready to take
part in dives partnered by a diver of at least the same or higher grade. The two star diver
does not have sufficient experience to lead one star divers on open water dives.
Pre-requistes
Minimum age of 15.
CMAS One Star Diver certified
20 logged dives since One Star certification, 10 deeper than 20msw
Details of the course
The Two Star Diver course covers:
- Physics
- Physiology
- First Aid
- Dive tables & planing
- Decompression diving understanding
- Entry level diving skills
Course duration and number of dives
The Two Star Diver course is a 5 day course and 10 dives are required.

Equipment requirement
The Two Star Diver course has no specific equipment requirement more than your
standard recreational dive gear. We do however require that all divers carry a spool, SMB,
wriste slate and pocket mask.
