CMAS Nitrox Diver Course
Course Overview
This course is designed to teach recreational divers to dive safely using nitrox with an
oxygen content up to and including 40%.
Pre-requistes
Minimum age of 14.
One Star diver certified.

The Nitrox Diver course covers:
- Oxygen physiology
- Nitrogen narcosis
- Nitrox Dive planning
- Equipment requirements
- Gas mixing techniques
Course duration and number of dives
The Nitrox Diver course is a 2 day course and 2 dives are recommended.

Equipment requirement
The Nitrox Diver course has no specific equipment requirement more than your standard
recreational dive gear. We do however require that all divers carry a spool, SMB and wriste
slate.
