CMAS Advanced Nitrox Instructor Course
Course Overview
This course widens all aspects of Nitrox diving to include the use of stage decompression
and pure oxygen. The objective of this course is to train instructors to teach the awarness
of the additional risks associated with gas switching to optimize decompression schedules.
Pre-requistes
Minimum age of 18.
Two Star Instructor certified.
Proof of 12 logged nitrox dives.

- Formula work, CNS and OTU

- Dive tables & dive computers
- Dive planning
- Common mixing procedures

The Advanced Nitrox instructors course is a 3 day course and 3 dives are required.

Equipment requirement
The Advanced Nitrox instructor course has some specific equipment required for this
course on top of the standard gear. All students must own or purchase a spool, SMB
and wrist slate. We supply the nitrox tanks and mixes, the oxygen clean regulator and the
oxygen analyser.
