CMAS Cave III Diver Course
Course Overview
The Cave Diver III (Full Cave Diver) course is emphasizing advanced cave diving planning
and execution. This is the final step in the progression from Cave Diver I (Cavern Diver) to
Cave Diver III (Full Cave Diver). Techniques learned through earlier courses are more
fully developed and refined, with the cave diver exposed to more sophisticated cave diving
scenarios. Relatively few divers in the world achieve this level of advanced capability and
training.
Pre-requistes
Minumum age of 18.
Cave II diver certified.
Three Star Diver.
Proof of 100 logged dives out of wich 8 cave dives since CD2 certification.

The Cave III diver course is a 4 day course and 8 dives are required.

Equipment requirement
The Cave III Diver course has some specific equipment requirement more than your
standard technical dive gear. The Cave III Diver program requires 3 lights, 2 spools and
main line, 2 cutting devices and line arrow and cokkies.
